The Legacy Ridge Assisted Living community has enhanced services to residents by adding a new memory care center adjacent to the existing properties on site. This new memory care facility provides personalized care for the community's population.

 

Legacy Ridge Memory Care was designed with the same principles as the assisted living center: security, fulfillment, and community. The new building includes 16 independent resident rooms along with engaging amenities, including a community living room with a fireplace and tv, an activity kitchen and dining, and an open-air courtyard with a feature green wall. This small-scale community provides a pleasing and secure experience with opportunities for continued enrichment for its residents.

 

The interiors were developed with functionality, comfort, and a sense of home in mind. The activity kitchen and dining room features a central island with bar seating which allows for group activities and demonstrations. There is a connection to the interior courtyard where additional seating for dining and relaxing can occur.

 

The living room was designed as a relaxation space where residents can read, enjoy the fireplace, watch a program on the large tv, appreciate each other's company, and enjoy the local art on display throughout the space. Artwork was selected to show off various images of the renowned Cahaba Lily, a rare and indigenous plant in the region.

The interiors scope and development included all finishes, furniture, millwork, lighting, art, and accessories selections.
