Colonial Pinnacle Medical Office Building

TRO Jung|Brannen was chosen by a local developer to plan and design Colonial Pinnacle, the third of three medical office buildings to support the Sacred Heart Health System based in the panhandle of Florida.  The Gulf Shores, Alabama site was chosen for its prominent location off Highway 59, its proximity to the patient population, and its adjacency to other busy commercial and retail properties, further giving rise to the area’s multi-use profile.

The Colonial Pinnacle building was designed with similar architectural characteristics to other facilities in Sacred Heart’s real estate portfolio giving it a connection to the Sacred Heart brand and identity.  The tilt-up precast system used in the design, which provides cost benefits in more ways than one,
iswell-concealed, but provides a sturdy structure able to withstand wind loads characteristic in coastal communities.  While designed to appear three stories tall for greater presence, the leasable space is on two floors.  Interior finishes were chosen also to match the Sacred Heart brand.  Local vegetation and landscaping was added to finish the project.

Tenants include an ambulatory surgery center, an oncology diagnostics center, an urgent care center, a rehabilitation center, and a conference center designed for use by building tenants and the community.
